Nicole Carmen Tan is Group COO\/General Counsel of Golden Equator Group, where she holds a dual role of overseeing both the legal and regulatory matters for the Group as well as the day-to-day running of the various business within the Group, ensuring operational excellence while driving business growth and success. Additionally, she provides advice to the Group\u2019s Business Unit Leads in relation to legal risks, structuring and disputes, as well as on corporate advisory, governance and due process.<\/p>\n
Nicole brings more than seven years of experience in legal practice, specialising primarily in finance. Prior to joining the Group, she held the position of main work contact of a boutique law firm for its Greater China, Corporate Governance and Compliance, and Investment Advisory practices. Most recently, she was in the Finance practice at Stephenson Harwood LLP, where she acted in domestic and cross-border financings across Asia and Europe. Throughout her time in practice, in addition to representing various financial institutions, investment funds, leasing houses and other corporate entities, she has also worked closely with in-house counsel and regulatory authorities of multiple jurisdictions worldwide.<\/p>\n
